POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Welcome to HYPE Studios. We are so excited to have you as part of our family. Things are pretty laid back here, but there are a few things that we are sticklers about that you should know about. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to serving you! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

STUDIO CLASS PACKAGES

Studio Class Packages apply to all regularly scheduled studio classes. Please pay attention to the expiration lengths on each package. You must use all classes in a package by the expiration date. If you have not used all of your classes by the expiration date, we will allow 2 exceptions:

1. We will give you 1 week to use as many unused classes from the package as possible.

2. If you have only used a few of your classes, you can choose to buy back those used classes at the single class rate and then reinstate the entire package from a new agreed upon date. (ex. You have a 5-pack and you've only used 2 classes, you can pay for 2 single classes that would cover the 2 used classes. We would then restart your entire 5-pack from the new date and you would have the original amount of time to use the

package starting from the new use date.)

NOTE: If HYPE Studios is closed, we will extend your package by the total number of days closed.

SHARING STUDIO CLASS PACKAGES

The 5, 10, 15 and 20 class packages can be shared between family members. These 4 packages can be transferred to another client, but the expiration date will remain the same. The monthly and yearly unlimited packages are for use by only 1 person and are not transferable.

FREEZING PACKAGES

If an unforeseen occasion occurs that would cause you to miss class for an extended period of time (longer than 2 weeks), you may request in writing for your package to be frozen for a designated period of time. This needs to be done prior to the absence. A package will not be able to be frozen if notification takes place after the fact.

GENERAL STUDIO CLASS INFO

Due to the drop-in nature of our studio classes, our availability is first come first serve. Should a class reach capacity, the first students registered will be allowed to take the class. To ensure your spot in class, you can sign in for class from home using your hypestudios.com online account.

Class observation are allowed during the last 15 minutes of class. We encourage you to take the class to get the full experience of the class.

Please refer to the online schedule in the registration section of www.hypestudios.com to check the status of class before coming to class. While it doesn't happen often, occasionally a class may need to be canceled for a day. When this occurs, we will make every effort to contact students who have taken that class over the past 4 weeks. A temporarily canceled class will have "Class Canceled" in the place of the class sign in link.

WHAT TO WEAR

We do not have a dress code for any of our classes. All we ask is that you wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes. For those of you just starting out, tennis shoes or bare feet are fine. The teacher may suggest different shoe types for more regular students.

LOST ITEMS

Please be advised that HYPE Studios takes no responsibility for lost or stolen items. We do our best to collect all items left every day and place them in our lost and found. If you think you may have left something at HYPE, please ask to see our lost and found. 2-3 times a year, we take all unclaimed items to Goodwill.

PERSONAL IMAGE USE

From time to time, we may photograph or video a class for promotional use. When you created your online account, you agreed to allow the use of your image in promotions by checking the Liability Release section. If you wish not to be included in any promotional outlets, please ask the instructor or photographer to place you in a position that is out of frame.

CLASS LEVELS

Although our class levels range from Intro to Advanced, we do not take the position of telling someone that they can't take a certain class due to ability level. We leave that up to you!

PRIVATE LESSONS/RENTALS

Private lessons can be made through the front desk or directly through the instructor. Room Rentals must be made through the front desk. Please be advised that there is a 24 hour cancelation policy. If a lesson or rental is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, you will still be charged for the lesson/rental. Fees are due at the time of the booking.
